How do you compare two purchase options fairly?
Price alone rarely tells the full story. Two options at similar prices can mean very different things depending on your income and budget — this tool puts both side by side using the numbers you provide.
Enter a price for each option. If you add your monthly income, we'll estimate the hours of work each one represents, using the same simple hourly-wage method as “Can I Afford It?” — monthly income divided by 160 standard work hours. Add your monthly available money too, and you'll also see what share of your budget each option takes.
The result is deliberately plain: which option is cheaper, and by how much — in money and, when possible, in hours of work. No score, no recommendation.
